1. Wavlink Repeater Physical Setup
Plug in the repeater/extender into the power outlet near the router (but not too close).
Wait until the LED lights on repeater blink and turn solid.
Now, connect your device to the new network (SSID). It’ll be something like: "WAVLINK-XXXX" or "WAVLINK-XXXX" or (_ext2.4G or _ext5G) could be added to your existing SSID such as “HOME_EXT2.4G OR HOME_EXT5G (depending on the signal strength).
No password is required for the first time connection.
2. Configure the Repeater
Open any web browser (Chrome, Safari or Microsoft Edge) and type IP address: 192.168.10.1 or URL: ap.setup into the address bar.
Tap “Enter” and a login page will appear.
Fill in the credentials (username and password) i-e admin for both usually. If not, check the repeater’s label.
After login, you’ll see different modes. Tap on “Repeater mode” (This is for your device to acknowledge your router’s WiFi and repeat it).
Choose among “Bridge” or “Gateway” in the repeater mode.
Your device will begin to scan nearby WiFi networks.
Select your repeater’s network and change its default SSID to avoid confusion.
Set the repeater’s password same as your WiFi’s password.
After the changes have been made, reconnect your devices to the new WiFi network (the repeater’s SSID).

How to Reset Wavlink Repeater?
1. Find tiny “Reset” hole on the side or back of the repeater.
2. With the help of any paperclip, pin or toothpick, press inside hole.
3. Hold for about 10 seconds and release.
4. Lights on the repeater will start blinking again and the factory reset is done.
5. After reset, you can do full Wavlink repeater setup again.
